Founder Jason Dante, began his journey in Santa Cruz where the blend of coastal air and off-road spirit shaped his love for these iconic vehicles. The story of Origin Land Cruisers began long before he ever owned a toolset or workshop. Growing up, he spent most of his free time surfing with friends in Santa Cruz, California,

One morning, waiting for a ride to the beach, his friend’s older brother pulled up in a new Toyota Land Cruiser. It wasn’t flashy, but it stood out. The Land Cruiser looked ready for anything, built solid, with clean lines and quiet confidence that caught Jason’s attention – Love at first sight!

What started as personal restoration projects in a small coastal garage quickly grew into the passion of restoration and reimagining of Land Cruisers. Seeking more space, and a location close to the rugged terrain that inspired the brand, he relocated to Central Oregon. A landscape defined by its mountains, desert trails, and pioneering spirit.
